My Fitness Journey

Before I go into how I set up a successful, fully customized program for my clients, let me tell you a bit about myself as my training programs are influenced by what I have found works over the years. 

When I first started to workout, I had no idea of what was possible and as a result, I don’t have that perfect before picture. It was my son that got me started, and in the picture, that is him in my arms at 30. The image on the left is of me at 50. 

It wasn’t until I was 45 that I got started. My son wanted to get into shape, and I wanted to spend more time with him, so we got a gym membership. After about 3 months, I started to see changes in my body, and I was hooked. At this time, I didn’t even have my diet right, but I was working on it. 

This entire transformation was done using whole natural foods: no drugs or even supplements for that matter. You, too, can improve your health and change your body drug-free using progressive training techniques and the right combinations of whole, healthy foods. For your transformation we’ll work together to find the right meal plan and style of eating that works best for you. With built-in flexibility, so you can enjoy life and make room for unexpected times and special occasions. You will learn how to use proper nutrition to accomplish your goals. Valuable information, you will be able to use long after we have finished working together. 

The Approach

All training programs are customize to meet the needs of each client making them personalized and progressive. 

The nutrition portion of the program allows you to pick the foods you like and shows you how to incorporate these into a balanced diet, ensuring you get everything you need to reach your goals. Everyone’s fitness journey is individual, and every client is unique.

As you progress and gain greater levels of fitness, your needs change. My role is to keep your training fresh and pointed in the same direction as your goals. So, you never stall in one place. 

 

How It Works

To help you get into the best shape of your life, we start with a questionnaire to establish health, lifestyle and fitness goals. It also helps confirm we are a good fit as my specialty is helping people lose body fat and build muscle. Next, we do a fitness assessment to verify your level of fitness. From here, in addition to the information you provided in the questionnaire, we begin to build your first program. 

We will track all of your progress through our state-of-the-art software, giving you a complete picture of your results. The better you can see your positive progress, the more motivated you will become. 

You will be able to access your workouts on your computer or phone, with video instructions on how to do each exercise. 

There Is More

We will stay in regular contact via email, and you can message me anytime. Along with this, we will do 2 video Skype or Google meet calls (this can be done by phone, but I like the conversational quality created when you can see who you are talking to) a month to go over progress and any questions you may have.

The cost for this is $300.00 a month for the first two months as there is more work involved in the first couple of months to get everything set up and $200.00 for every month after that until you reach your goal. After your assessment, we should be able to establish how long that will take. Billing does not start until after we have done a full assessment; you are happy with the program and are ready to start.

  • A Skype call every 2 weeks for one-on-one consultation

  • A Phone app so you can have all your coaching and training information right at your fingertips available right when you need it
  • Video exercise and coaching tutorials
  • Form checks by video so you can be confident you are doing the exercises correctly
